About Kimberly Montante Interiors

Kimberly Montante Interiors believes living beautifully affects all aspects of life and strives to create beautiful spaces that reflect the life you want to live.  Specializing in curated, unique spaces that are as individual as each client, we can happily assist with projects throughout Ventura County, and projects all along coastal California from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles.  Kimberly Montante Interiors is the design firm founded by Kimberly Montante over 10 years ago.

“I feel as if this has been a lifelong pursuit for me.” 

Growing up in the corners of wonderful antique stores with her mother, Kimberly was taught to respect and love the beauty and history of design and craftsmanship as a child.  As a designer, she appreciates and encourages clients to use and give new life to treasured family heirlooms which bring a sense of history, and personal style to her projects.   But more than that, her mother's career as a pool and landscape designer gave Kimberly early, first-hand knowledge of the design world. 

“I learned from the youngest ages about scale, proportion, design and beautiful living.”

Her flair for the dramatic didn’t initially take her to interiors.  Her first pursuit was as an actor, performing on stage throughout the LA theater scene.  Although she continues to love that dramatic side of life, eventually the design world called her to interior spaces.  She enrolled in Savannah College of Art and Design.  In 2001, she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was the graduating class Valedictorian.  Wasting no time, she immediately began working on the foundations of Kimberly Montante Interiors.

“Great design starts with a smart approach to the basics of space planning and responsible design decisions; both for our environment and our communities. I work with local builders, contractors and design professionals to assist them and clients with concept and space planning in new construction and remodels to make sure floor plans are beautiful and comfortable, as well as livable.”

Kimberly lives, works and plays in Ventura County with her husband James and two awesome kids Logan and Isabella.
