Easter Entertaining
Happy Spring and Happy Easter!
Are you hosting Easter brunch or dinner for your family? My entertaining tip is layers of pretty but keep it simple. Tomorrow is one of my favorite holidays; I love spring! The weather is beautiful, Southern California is often beautiful but Spring always brings an energy of renewal and my creativity is usually especially inspired!
Though my children are no longer little and excited by the Easter Bunny but we still like the fun of the hunt - a friend once told me they hide one large $bill$ in an egg and their teens all go searching. That's much more fun than just candy! :) I am a busy working mom so our home is not an Easter pinterest page but I do try to make moments special for our family and the kids' memories! To create special moments, we bring out the special pieces. My china is vintage Noritake gold and can be very formal so for Easter brunch I bring in colored glass and lots of flowers. I also love using vintage linen tablecloths and I have a few dozen classic hemstitch napkins that are perfect for any season or occasion. Which brings me to share 4 ways to fold a napkin from "Charlotte Moss Entertains". In her book, Charlotte Moss shares hostess tips and I loved how easy these were to follow.
One of my favorite fabric lines, Schumacher highlighted her tips and images with their beautiful fabrics to inspire your table.
Have fun creating a beautiful memory for your family, remember, love the moment, and do not stress the details. It is about living beautifully for you and your family and God bless you on this Easter!
